In spite of VAT neutral character, in Polish realities it often means actual cost for VAT-payers and has negative impact on cash flow. The aim of the presentation is to discuss potential solutions for VAT savings or improvement of cash flow.

The presentation will be focused on "hot" VAT problems: 

 

• Cars with truck certification vs. VAT - is there necessity to speed up the process of exchanging the company's fleet?

 

• Free-of-charge supply of goods - do always subject to VAT?

 

• Bed debt relief - how to recover paid VAT from unpaid invoices?

 

• Quarterly returns - when to apply?

 

• Mixed supply - is there a chance for lower VAT rate?

 

• Issuance of invoices and correct invoices - how to make the process friendly and efficient?

 

Presenter: Michał Galejczuk, Tax advisor - Michał is a lawyer and a licensed tax advisor. Michał conducted many tax trainings, among others for the pharmaceutical, real estate and production industry. He is the author of many tax publications placed among others in Gazeta Prawna ("Legal Daily") and in the Forbes monthly. Tax advisors environment elected him their delegate on the National Congress of Tax Advisors in January 2010 in Warsaw.
